When we visited New York City last weekend, it was quite a rainy day. The city always offers a unique charm as we strolled through the streets, with the soft patter of raindrops setting the scene. We ducked into The Shops at Columbus Circle, escaping the drizzle, and made our way to Bloch Store, where Sophia picked out a beautiful new pair of ballet shoes, ready for her next class. A quick stop by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we admired the timeless masterpieces, reminded us of the city’s rich culture. Afterward, we headed down Fifth Avenue, the rain making the lights and storefronts shimmer with an extra touch of magic. A warm cup of coffee at the Ralph Lauren kiosk offered some warmth. After getting refreshed at the hotel, we made our way to our favorite restaurant Kungfu Kitchen, where we indulged in the best vegetable dumplings! Our last stop of the day was Times Square before we retreated to our hotel room for a restful night.
The next day, the sun was shining brightly, but the cold still lingered in the air, making us bundle up as we checked out of our hotel and set out for breakfast. We explored a few sports stores, picked up a few things at Muji. Our next stop took us to Koreatown, where we treated ourselves to delicious pastries from Tous Les Jours bakery, the sweet aromas filled the air as we enjoyed the treats. After walking quite a bit, we made our way to Chelsea Market for some last-minute shopping, exploring the eclectic mix of shops and eateries. We grabbed a quick bite before wrapping up our adventure and heading back home.
